Beirut, July 2, 2009: The Computer Science and Mathematics Department at the Lebanese American University in Beirut, Lebanon, organized The Lebanese Collegiate Programming Competition (LCPC) for two consecutive days.  The event attracted college students majoring in Computer Science and Computer Engineering across Lebanon and provided them with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate their programming and problem solving skills. The event was supervised by the Association of Computing Machinery – International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM – ICPC) and sponsored by Ayna Corporation.

During the opening ceremony and the registration of the students, Ayna had a stand to familiarize the participants with the company and provide them with the opportunity to join its team.  During the Gala dinner, that included all participants, the Organizing Committee, officials from participating universities and representatives from the industry, LAU President Joseph Jabbra made a speech about the importance of supporting higher education of Lebanese students and presented the winners with prizes along with
Mr. Adonis El Fakih, Ayna's CEO.
