AYNA Ramadan Competition 2009

Ayna Corporation is organizing its yearly competition throughout the holy month of Ramadan. This year, AYNA teamed up with Future Television to run a religious program on its international and local channels. The show, Ayat wa 3ibar, will be broadcasted daily right after the Maghrib Prayer Call.

The show starts when the Sheikh demonstrates a religious event of a specific Koranic Verse. At the end of the show, a daily question will be asked about a geographical location for a certain religious site or mosque, and the viewers will be requested to geo-locate it on AYNA Maps  in order to enter a draw and win prizes.  

Once the location is found, users are required to enter and submit the information in the submission box by filling up their Name, Email and Phone number with the International Country Code. The locations could be determined on both, the Map and Satellite View.

Participants will have the chance to win valuable prizes and gifts such as Two Round-trip Tickets, a Laptop, Tech-Box, and other gifts as well. Every week throughout the month of Ramadan, a draw will be held to announce the winner on Future Television.

The questions will be also available on Ayna.com on a daily basis through banner promotions enabling users that missed the question on future tv to have the chance to participate in the competition.

The draws will take place on the following dates:

•    8th of Ramadan, first draw
•    15th of Ramadan, second draw
•    22nd of Ramadan, third draw
•    29th of Ramadan, last draw

The competition is open to everyone in the Arab World. Every viewer may enter the draw once per day and could participate daily to increase the chances of winning. Users may not share the answers with others.
